Editorial Policy
Carry-On Gear Guide reviews travel backpacks against the published carry-on limits of airlines from Delta and United to Ryanair and Wizz Air.
Where the Information Comes From
Dimensions, weight and volume come from each manufacturer’s product page. Owner feedback comes from verified Amazon reviews, r/onebag on Reddit and FlyerTalk. Where a page draws on a published review from Pack Hacker, The Broke Backpacker or Better Trail, it names that source.
Airline Size Limits
Every carry-on and personal-item limit on the site comes from the airline’s own published baggage page. Airlines change these rules with little notice, so each airline guide shows the month it was last updated and asks readers to confirm with the airline before flying.
How Picks Are Made
Each pick is tied to a named use case, such as budget-airline flying or one-bag travel. The choice rests on the bag’s published specs and on owner feedback. The commission a retailer pays does not decide which bag is recommended.
Prices
Prices appear in each page’s summary table and on its retailer buttons. Retail prices change often, and the price shown at the retailer when you click through is the one that applies.
Affiliate Links
Links to retailers are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
